FMCA (https://site.fmca.com) was originally called the Family Motor Coach Association, but it’s now just known as FMCA and is open to all owners of motorized and towable RVs. It is a long-standing RV membership organization with more than 140,000 RVing members that organizes two large national conventions each year, and has several local chapters around the country that put on smaller-scale area rallies with activities throughout the year, like campfires and potlucks. FMCA also has a program where members volunteer assistance and hospitality to other members with their Stop Over Spots, Come Visit, and Mechanic’s Helper initiatives, to help fellow RVers traveling through.

The Explorer RV Club of Canada (www.explorer-rvclub.com) is the largest national Canadian RV club serving all members, no matter if you’ve got a luxury motorhome or a simple pop-up camper. The club organizes rallies and events, offers a range of benefits (more about these in Chapter 9), and is open to anyone living or traveling in Canada, providing the opportunity to connect with others in the great white north!
